Wow. None of us from the Sports Pub saw that coming.

The Seattle Seahawks, Pete Carroll and Matt Hasselbeck trumped the New Orleans Saints duo of Sean Payton and Drew Brees in an epic NFL playoff upset.

I can say it no better than the Seattle Post Intelligencer and their article Who was Dat? Hawks stun Saints, 41-36.

What I do want to recognize is Carroll having his guys ready to play and Hasselbeck shining after what summed up to a very average regular season.

The Qwest Field crowd did their thing in making it a hostile, loud environment and enjoyed cheering on the NFC West division champs.

The NFL is happy to have that game kick-off the post-season as there were plenty of fireworks and a Cinderella story was born.

Away we go and congrats to the Seahawks organization and their fans.
